Volunteers

Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of the Cookeville Food Forest! We’re building an edible arboretum for our city, and it takes all kinds of helpers to make a forest grow. Yes—we need committee members, plant nerds, soil whisperers, growers, and species experts…but we also need joyful, curious community members who just want to learn while they weed, haul mulch, and help turn a hillside into magic. No experience needed—we’ll have friendly folks on site at every volunteer day to show you what to do, answer your questions, and cheer you on. And if you’re ready to dig in a little deeper (figuratively or literally), send us an email—we’d love to bring you into the inner circle of forest-makers.
