About the event
Join us for an informal walk-through of the future Cookeville Food Forest site at Cane Creek Park. This is your chance to see the landscape before planting begins, ask questions, share ideas, and meet the volunteers helping bring this 25-year community vision to life. Families, neighbors, and curious first-timers are all welcome—stop by for five minutes or stay the whole time.
📍Directions to the Tour LocationPlease follow these directions carefully—Google Maps does not yet recognize the new access road.
Enter Cane Creek Park through the main entrance (not the dog park entrance and not the recreation center entrance).
Continue straight, passing the boat rental area on your right.
As the road curves upward, follow the one-way road up the hill toward the basketball courts.
At the top of the hill—before you reach the hilltop courts and pavilion—look to your right for the new access road leading to a brand-new parking lot and pavilion.
